A brief overview of this Caribbean getaway
Northern Lights is a 9-unit complex comprised of privately owned two-floor townhomes, located on the waters edge along the quiet north coast of Grand Cayman. The comfort and breathtaking views of this condo are matched only by its' surroundings: 240 feet of sandy beach, a coral reef teeming with life only 75 feet from shore and a panoramic view of 10 miles of shoreline. The buildings are tucked away among native palms, sea grape and almond trees. Directly in front of Northern Lights are some of the island's most spectacular snorkeling and dive sites: Mermaid Point Drop-off, Skinny Palm Tree Reef Drop-off, and Babylon to name a few. Fish or snorkel right from our own dock.
Unit #6 is a 2 Bedroom / 2.5 Bath condo (both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms). The space comfortably accommodates 4-6 guests with a King Bed in the Master, Queen and Single Bed in the Second Bedroom (both air mattress and travel crib are available upon request). The condo includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, comfortable living area with Cable and Smart TV, and a screened in patio with BBQ grill. Ocean views can be enjoyed from the main level living area or from a hammock on the screened in balcony off the Master. The unit is steps away from the pool, and just a few more steps to the beach.
The following are standard amenities included with your accommodation. Unchecked items available upon request.
This is what our guests think
We are very grateful for the boundless hospitality of Justin and Maureen. We had a great holiday - house is very nice and comfortable. Well-thought interior designs, architecture for comfortable stay. Justin was amazing in organising everything before our arrival on Sunday. Thank you so much! The location is excellent - beach in front was indeed one of the best we snorkelled for coral and fish variety. Also the restaurants were very nice - over the edge is our favourite for food and location but the east end had many different choices also. Rum Point is also very nice and close from the house. Highly recommend.ERI -August 2017
We have been coming here for 10 years and can't imagine staying anywhere else. The condo is the perfect location, the best snorkeling and diving right out your front door. Every window looks out into the sea and the hammock on the upstairs patio is total relaxation as you listen to the waves of the sea. There is everything in the condo you need to have the best vacation of your life. All you need to bring is your clothes. The boat dock is the perfect spot for looking for fish, fishing, or just being lazy and reading a book. We hope you have as great a time as we did and we will be back..we can't stay away.PENNY & BASIL -June 2017
If you want a busy and noisy place within walking distance to all the touristy stuff this is not for you. But we like the opposite, and this small condo complex on the quiet north shore of GC was perfect for us. The unit is spacious and loaded with everything you need: the kitchen was fully equipped (and we used the patio grill several nights), the WIFI and TV worked well, the beds in both bedrooms comfortable, many towels provided. (There are several great restaurants in the area which we also enjoyed.) As others stated, the snorkeling out front is the best that we found, and we explored quite a few other beaches. We would come back to this place if we revisit Grand Cayman.ED -January 2017
My family and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at NL. Not only was the property clean and spacious for our party of 4, the price was much better than similar properties on the island and is extremely well stocked/appointed. Justin and Maureen took care of everything needed to make our check in and check out painless and efficient, and the welcome basket was a pleasant surprise that knocked several staples of our arrival shopping list. The location on the quiet side of the island was actually a plus for us - having a beach and pool w/o the insanity of the crowds on seven mile beach was much more relaxing than our previous stays on Grand Cayman, and the drive wasn't bad at all for the times we when we did go to Georgetown or 7MB for restaurants or activities. We actually enjoyed the opportunity to checkout the restaurants and activities on the north and east sides of the island. All in all, my family rated NL condo the best place we've stayed in the 8 years we've been coming to the Caribbean for the holidays.IVAN -December 2016
Northern Lights is located along the northern coast of Grand Cayman with close proximity to restaurants, attractions, and a small grocery store yet away from the traffic and tourists.
Justin is a local Caymanian who has been on and around this property since he was a young boy and while it was being developed by his dad Bo Miller. He'll give you the best tips on where to try the local dishes like Ox Tail, Turtle, and Conch Fritters. When the unit is not occupied, you'll often find him there tending to improvements and enjoying the quiet escape from Seven Mile Beach where he lives.
Maureen is originally from Boston, MA and met Justin on a vacation to Grand Cayman while visiting friends. Maureen works remotely for a Seattle based start-up and is always connected! Any questions, just shoot out an email and she's sure to get back to you within the day.
